In Krasnoyarsk, a fraudster who deceived a woman into prepayment for the manufacture of furniture will appear in court.
In the fall of 2025, the duty department of police department No. 7 of the Krasnoyarskoye Municipal Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia received a statement from a resident of the regional center born in 1983. She reported that the furniture maker charged her an advance payment, but the order was never completed. At the same time, the man blocked her number in all messengers. The damage caused by his actions amounted to about 47 thousand rubles.
As the police established, in September a woman saw an advertisement for furniture manufacturing and ordered a kitchen set and an extractor hood from the craftsman. The man asked several times for an advance payment for materials, but did not start work. After the victim refused to pay further, he stopped communicating.
The police found a suspect; he turned out to be a resident of the regional center, born in 1965, who had previously been convicted of fraud. The man initially did not intend to make furniture, so he simply took money, supposedly for materials, and spent it on his own needs.
The investigator of the investigative department No. 7 of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Krasnoyarskoye” initiated and investigated a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”. The attacker was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
