Unprecedented chaos in Greece! Olympiakos defeated Panathinaikos 89-85 in Game 5 of the championship final. Tensions between the two teams reached a new peak after the final whistle of the game, when a violent incident broke out between Tyrique Jones and Kendrick Nunn, who got into a fight in the locker room corridor. The intervention of the police was needed, but in many moments it was seen to be overwhelmed by the situation.
Following the result, Olympiakos basketball players became champions in Greece, after 3 weeks ago they also lifted the Euroleague trophy.
Although the match had ended on the floor, the events that followed captured all the attention. However, spirits did not settle even after the final whistle.

The confrontation continued in the booth area, where it began with a harsh exchange of words. The situation quickly degenerated, the pivot of Olympiacos punching the American of Panathinaikos, according to sportal.gr.
The altercation caused chaos, requiring the intervention of the police to end the serious episode and prevent an escalation of violence, although the players were difficult to stop.
The “green” coach, Ergin Ataman, shouted in front of the ERT television cameras, explaining to the whole world what happened.
“Tyrique Jones came into the locker room and hit Kendrick Nunn. What kind of stuff is that? Is this Greek basketball? What Tyrique Jones is doing is a total disgrace!” he said, extremely nervous.
