40-year-old Yuliya miraculously survived the shelling of Kostyantynivka and suffered a severe hand injury. After the operation, the bone did not grow, so an osteosynthesis implant was needed for further treatment. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation provided an implant and the necessary medicines for the woman.
“I am so happy that the Foundation helped me, that my hand was saved,” says Yulia.
Today, she is gradually developing her hand and can already hold things with it. He says this is a small but very important progress.
As part of the “Treatment and Rehabilitation of Wounded Adults” project, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has already helped more than 11,000 Ukrainians affected by shelling with treatment and rehabilitation.
If you or someone you know needs help, write to the Foundation's messenger http://m.me/AkhmetovFDU or call the free hotline 0 800 509 001 (the line is open from Monday to Friday).
