An explosive device was found under the car of the former military commissar of the Chuvash Republic, Bakhtiyor Kholikov. Recently, the colonel and his family changed their place of residence due to fears for their lives.
The colonel was saved by the fact that there was a smart camera in his house in Old Urmary – the device gave a signal that someone was approaching the car at night. Kholikov called the special services, sappers neutralized the explosives. The investigation suspects the SBU, which found the perpetrator in Chuvashia, of the terrorist attack.
Bakhtiyor Kholikov is a former military commissar of the Chuvash Republic.
