The man tried to escape abroad as part of a musical group. The SBU told the details of the fraud

In Lvov, a 48-year-old Armenian promised to transport a man liable for military service outside Ukraine under the guise of being a member of a musical group for $12,000. The organizer of the fraud was exposed by the SBU and the National Police. This situation was described in more detail on June 12 on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Security Service department in the Lvov region.

An Armenian citizen who has been living in Lvov for a long time agreed with his client that he would first pay him an advance of $3 thousand, and then give him the rest of the money.

“The defendant guaranteed to organize the production of documents stating that he is allegedly a member of a musical group, with the subsequent inclusion of the draft dodger in the Shlyakh information system,” the SBU explained.

However, the Armenian was caught red-handed after receiving an advance payment. He has already been informed of suspicion of organizing the illegal transfer of a person across the state border of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

This story is reminiscent of the scheme that Bihus.info journalists previously described – during the course of their investigation, they found out that Ukrainian musician Pyotr Cherny (Petya Cherny) during 2025, under the guise of musicians, took five men from Ukraine – supposedly to his charity concerts in Spain.

Journalists from Bihus.info learned from a response to a request to the Kyiv City Military Administration that during 2025, entrepreneur Sergei Matusov regularly contacted them with a request to help the artist Pyotr Cherny and his musicians travel to various charity events in Spain. The letters contained the names of different people – it was this fact that surprised the investigators. In addition, announcements of events were attached to the documents, which, according to journalists, looked fake. This increased suspicions.

The investigation states that with the assistance of Matusov, Dmitry Prokudin, who works in the IT field, and Igor Odaryuk, a musician, first left Ukraine. Journalists noted that they could not find confirmation that he works in Cherny’s team.

A month later, Matusov addressed the Kyiv city military administration with a new letter, lobbying for the departure of two more alleged musicians.

Journalists discovered that they left Ukraine after the announced concerts and, accordingly, could not perform at them. One of these men, Vladislav Shurman, said that a certain “Sergei Ilyich” helped him leave. Investigators note that this is exactly the name and patronymic of Matusov. According to Schurman, who now lives in Poland, he paid about $5 thousand for the services.
