The search for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in Kuturchinsky Belogorye in September 2025, has not yet yielded any results. Recently, a piece of a Nordic walking stick was found in the taiga, but experts doubt that this thing is related to the missing ones, writes KP – Krasnoyarsk.

Guide and experienced hiker Alexey Isichenko, who knows the area well, believes that the family could hardly survive if they remained in the taiga. In his opinion, they got lost, couldn’t get out and froze. The territory is huge, so it is very difficult to find them.
The head of the Oksana Vasilishina Search for Missing Children squad, Svetlana Torgashina, also doubts that the stick belongs to the Usoltsevs. According to relatives, no one in the family used walking poles – Sergei believed that his hands should be free when hiking. Isichenko added that they had a small child and a dog with them, so an extra item would only get in the way.
