The MTK criticizes Hungary for lack of action against Netanyahu. “They have not fulfilled their obligations”
“Hungary has not fulfilled their international obligations arising from the statute [Statut Rzymski, będący podstawą funkcjonowania MTK]without performing the Tribunal's request for the temporary arrest of Netanyahu during his stay in Hungary in April this year, “said the MTK preparatory department.
The judges of the Tribunal informed that The case was referred to the Congregation of the MTK Member States in order to take appropriate actionswhich are to ensure the implementation of the Tribunal's provisions.
Hungary did not follow the MTK order
“After the arrival of Netanyahu to Hungary, MTK submitted a formal request for his temporary arrest, but the Hungarian authorities did not take any action in this matter,” it was written in a statement.
