In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the daughter of a deceased employee was paid 1.5 million rubles in compensation for moral damage after the intervention of the prosecutor’s office.

The tragedy occurred in May 2025 in the Rybinsk district. The team performed the work at height. While descending from the roof, one of the carpenters lost his balance, fell onto a parked car and died from his injuries on the spot.

The prosecutor's investigation showed that the employee was allowed to work at heights with violations. He did not have the clearance order, the necessary documentation, targeted training or personal protective equipment. The prosecutor's office went to court in the interests of the daughter of the deceased and demanded compensation for moral damage in the amount of 1.5 million rubles from the employer.

Even before the court decision, the organization voluntarily paid the entire amount. Also, the Rybinsk District Court continues to consider the criminal case against the site foreman. He is accused of violating labor safety requirements, which negligently resulted in the death of a person.
