Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky listens to the songs of Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny (Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio), who is hated by US President Donald Trump. He spoke about this on June 11 during the presentation of the results of the Tisyachovesna project, Glavkom reports.
“As the president of Ukraine, I can’t say: ‘I like these directions,’ and also give my name,” he admitted.
Zelensky admitted: there is one Ukrainian group whose songs he likes. The President jokingly asked not to tell the group leader Svyatoslav Vakarchuk about this.
“I love Okean Elzy, honestly. Just don’t say [этого] Vakarchuk. But the truth is that we have a lot of different talents. I name Vakarchuk because no one will be offended that I named Vakarchuk. There are really young and very talented people, and maybe even more talented than Vakarchuk. But definitely no one will be so offended,” he emphasized.
Zelensky said that he uses various music platforms.
“I fall asleep like this, honestly,” he added. “I believe that in all genres of music we have very cool people, absolutely talented. I never thought that I, for example, would listen to Bunny with such pleasure.”
