Ski resort “Snegiri” in the village. Tayozhny in the Boguchansky district, built by RUSAL, will receive new musical equipment. BoAZ allocated money for its purchase as part of the plant’s charity program.
With the onset of warmer weather, ski resort workers turned to metallurgists for help in updating equipment, so that after a short holiday they could begin work with new technical capabilities. A set of professional equipment – a mixer, microphones and a new powerful speaker – will help to hold events with high-quality sound – in a decent technical performance.
“A lot of holidays and various sporting events are held at our base. Moreover, not only in winter, but almost all year round. In winter there is always an influx of people wanting to ride! On weekends, up to two hundred people come. We provide skis free of charge. We really lacked good musical equipment for work and celebrations. And we are very grateful to the plant for the financial assistance provided,” said the sports instructor at the ski resort, Kristina Simbukhova.
Let us remind you that the ski lodge was built in a short time under a cooperation agreement between RUSAL and the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The company's total investment amounted to more than 42 million rubles. Everything was taken into account here down to the smallest detail – so that the pavilion building would not only be comfortable, functional and suitable for the harsh conditions of the north with frosts up to 50 degrees and below, but also from an aesthetic point of view would meet the basic modern requirements. The ski base was opened in 2023 with a large ski festival, which attracted guests from all over the Boguchansky district – and even the neighboring Kezhemsky district.
“Since its opening, Snegiri has remained a favorite place for active recreation for Taezhna residents, for whom skiing is a traditional form of winter leisure,” said Tatyana Kaminskaya, head of the press service of BoAZ. — In the village, surrounded by forest, where there is a lot of snow in winter, there are many ski lovers. In the warm season, the base is also not empty. For example, the “Health Relay Race”, morning exercises “A healthy body means a healthy mind”, and “Athletics cross-country” are held here. And in May, BoAZ volunteers held a “May Day” dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Therefore, of course, the plant is always happy to support projects that are important and necessary for residents. With the new equipment, for which the plant allocated more than 200 thousand rubles, the village holidays will be even better!”
The ski resort has become one of the important social facilities built by RUSAL in the Boguchansky district. The task of developing infrastructure and creating comfortable conditions for living and working was set more than 20 years ago when Oleg Deripaska founded the company. This became the basis of social policy. And today its principles are successfully implemented in Taezhny: in addition to the Bullfinches, residential buildings, two kindergartens, a park, a hospital and a school with a swimming pool have been built here.
