According to an official statement from the Police, three men, aged 18, 31 and 44, were attacked by a group of six people, who punched and kicked them. During the general scuffle, one of the aggressors would also have used a penknife, but not to stab the victim, but to hit him in the head with the handle of the object.

Shortly after the outbreak of the scandal, a witness alerted the authorities by calling 112. The police and ambulance crews that arrived at the scene found the three injured men, showing visible signs of violence. After administering first aid, the victims were transported to two hospital units for further investigation and care.

In the days that followed, based on the statements, but also on the images captured during the scandal, the investigators established the identity of the six people involved in the conflict, men between the ages of 27 and 48. They were picked up and taken to hearings on June 8 and later detained for 24 hours.

On the other hand, the victims were informed about the possibility of requesting an extended protection order against the aggressors, but they refused such a measure.
