Gas prices. The Energy Regulatory Office has made a decision. This is what Orlen's customers will pay

— The “Energy Tomorrow Starts Today” strategy clearly outlines our goals. Energy independence and security and the lowest possible energy prices. Today we see what this means in practice. The ORLEN Group decided to keep gas prices for its customers unchanged, despite price increases on the markets in response to geopolitical tensions. We protect our clients against cost increases. By diversifying supplies and extracting from our own sources, we will be able to maintain prices – says Ireneusz Fąfara, president of Orlen.
Since the escalation of geopolitical tensions until the end of May, prices on European wholesale markets increased by 32%. for contracts assuming gas supplies next year and by 43 percent for contracts with collection next month. In Poland, these increases are being stabilized. On the Polish Power Exchange, the price of blue fuel increased by 25 percent during this time. and 33 percent, which illustrates the scale of short-term cost pressure.

Gas prices in Poland in 2026
Over the last 12 months, the Orlen Group has reduced gas prices three times – twice for fuel and once for distribution, which translates into real savings for Polish families. For example a four-person family living in a 140-meter house with a good energy standard and using gas for its own needs, including for heating, will pay on average approximately PLN 1,074 gross less in 2026 than according to the prices from the first half of 2025.
In the case of an apartment inhabited by two people who use gas to prepare meals and heat utility water, average savings in 2026 may reach approximately PLN 425 gross. However, if they use gas only for preparing meals, the annual fees in 2026 will be lower by approximately PLN 52 gross on average.
