Two years after being sold by Rapid to Sparta Prague for around 5 million euros, Albion Rrahmani is close to a new important step in his career. The Kosovar striker entered the radar of Venezia, newly promoted to Serie A, and the Italians have already started discussions for his transfer.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Peninsula club have made contact with both the player's representatives and Sparta Prague.

The good form shown by the former Rapid striker in the Czech Republic did not go unnoticed, and Venezia see him as one of the main targets to strengthen the offensive department before the return to Serie A.

The Czech press confirms the Italians' interest and claims that negotiations are already underway.

The price for the international from Kosovo is around 8 million euros. However, other clubs are also interested in the forward from Sparta.

Sparta demands 8 million euros

The management of the Czech club is not willing to give up easily one of its most important players. According to the information appearing in the local media, Sparta Prague is asking for around 8 million euros to agree to the transfer.

The amount is considerably higher than the one paid to those from FC Rapid Bucharest in the summer of 2024, when the Giulio team collected approximately 5 million euros for the transfer of the striker.

Albion Rrahmani confirmed in Czech football and became one of the main men of Sparta Prague. In the two seasons he spent at the formation from the Czech capital, the striker scored 26 goals in 83 appearances and gained experience including in UEFA Champions League matches.

In the recently concluded season, the Kosovar ticked off 49 games in all competitions, scoring 16 goals and 4 assists.

The 24-year-old striker is also a key player for the Kosovo national team, for whom he has so far collected 25 caps and 7 goals. Before his transfer to Sparta Prague, Rrahmani impressed in the shirt of Rapid, for whom he scored 18 goals and provided 6 decisive assists in 29 official matches.
