For many years the situation looked completely different. Although salaries in Polish zlotys were increasing, the weakening exchange rate of the national currency meant that when converted into euros we were actually stagnating. Only the current decade has brought a breakthrough and making up for the distance with the West.

Pekao economists, however, cool down premature enthusiasm by publishing a significant question: “This is the chart of the decade – I guess that's right?” Experts bluntly point out that this coin has two sides.
