In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a resident of Zheleznogorsk purchased a Lada 2107 car, and in the evening of the same day he drank alcohol and got behind the wheel while intoxicated. The trip through the city streets turned out to be short-lived – at one of the intersections the car was stopped by traffic police officers.
Since the man had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for drunk driving, under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court decided to confiscate the car.
“In the shortest possible time, the bailiff took a full range of measures to foreclose on the vehicle. He was seized: the debtor’s car was confiscated and transferred to the Federal Property Management Agency for further conversion into state revenue,” they said GUFSSP region.
