Changes in the management board of Bank Pocztowy. New boss from July 1

The Council will apply to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority for permission for Marciniak to serve as the bank's president. “As a result of the outcome of the open qualification procedure, the Supervisory Board of the Bank decided to appoint – as of July 1, 2026 – Mr. Jędrzej Marciniak to the Management Board of the Bank of the 12th term and entrust him with the function of vice-president of the Management Board of the Bank and temporary management of the work of the Management Board, i.e. until the date of entry into force of the resolution of the Supervisory Board of the Bank on the appointment of the President of the Management Board of the Bank of the 12th term of office,” we read.
From July 1, 2026, in addition to vice-president Jędrzej Marciniak, the bank's management board will include vice-presidents Agnieszka Kosowska and Łukasz Kinicki, as well as Piotr Piechota, vice-president supervising risk management significant in the bank's operations.
Jędrzej Marciniak was appointed to the management board of the bank for the 12th term, as of July 1, 2026, for a joint three-year term of office, which will end on December 31, 2026.
Who is Jędrzej Marciniak?
In 1993, Marciniak completed master's studies at the Poznań University of Economics, majoring in Economics and Production Organization, and in 2022 – postgraduate studies in Digital Marketing Strategies, Columbia Business School/Emeritus.
In 2001-2002 he was a member of the management board of B
ank of Zachodni WBK, and in 2003-2011, director of Bank Zachodni WBK (Santander) in the area of Brand Management and Investor Relations.
In the years 2011-2016 he served as a member of the management board of Lukas Bank/Credit Agricole Polska SA, and in the years 2016-2025 – vice-president of the management board of Credit Agricole Bank Polska SA

Bank Pocztowy SA was established in 1990 in Bydgoszcz. Its shareholders are Poczta Polska (75% minus 10 shares) and Powszechna Kasa Oszczedności Bank Polski SA (25% plus 10 shares). The bank offers accounts for individuals and institutional clients, term deposits, consumer and mortgage loans, insurance and investment products. The bank has 131 branches in its own network, and also offers its services in the Poczta Polska network.
