The US accuses Iran of missile attacks

US Central Command (CENTCOM) earlier reported that Iran fired seven ballistic missiles towards Kuwait and Bahrain on Friday night. Six were shot down and one failed to reach its target. Additionally, four Iranian drones that were heading towards ships in the Strait of Hormuz were shot down, after which US forces attacked Iranian radars in Goruk and Keshm Island.

US President Donald Trump gave the authorities in Tehran time to submit a “new proposal to end the war and end talks on this topic.” However, negotiations to end the war are at an impasse.

However, Reuters reports that Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi traveled to Iran on Saturday to meet with Supreme Iranian leader Mojtaba Chemenei. Pakistan took on the role of mediator in the Iran-US conflict.
