55-year-old nurse Vera from Mytishchi, who is suspected of damaging the monument to Georgy Zhukov, told the court that Ukrainian scammers defrauded her of three million rubles.
Now a preventive measure is being chosen for the woman. According to the police, she and 28-year-old Anastasia from Krasnoznamensk painted the inscription “GUR” on the pedestal of the monument. According to Vera, the scammers processed it for two months. They were required to go to the crime with the video recording turned on. Under the article “Damage of monuments of the Great Patriotic War,” she faces up to 5 years in prison.
