From the United States arrived the first ship with coking coal for Metinvest Akhmetov
Bison brought 80,000 tons of coal from its own company in the US, which works in the Appalachian coal basin of America.
Metinvest is expected to receive one such ship on a monthly basis.
The coke coal of the company imports because of the forced suspension of the mine in Pokrovsk. It will help ensure stable operation of metallurgical Metinvest plants in Kamyansk and Zaporozhye.
The company noted that the supply of US coal supports the production of steel at our enterprises and provides the work of tens of thousands of employees, railways, and tax revenues to the budget.
