Dorinel Munteanu (57 years old), coach free of contract after breaking up with Hermannstadt, spoke about the negotiations he is having with the second division CSM Reșita.

Dorinel Munteanu broke up with Hermannstadt immediately after being relegated with the Sibian group. On Monday, June 8, the technician will go to Reșita to have the last talks with the club management. He talked about the goals he would like to achieve.

Dorinel Munteanu: “I will go there on Monday for the final discussions”

“I know the people there, from Reșita. But that's not important, but what we do from a professional point of view. The project for the people of Reșița is an important one, if I start it, then I have to finish it.

I have to bring people to the stadium, as it was in Galați, that is one of my goals.

I'm going there on Monday for the final talks, so to speak. I've talked on the phone so far. The management of the club must also be established, because, you saw, Cristi Bobar has left”, said Dorinel Munteanu, according to digisport.ro.

Dorinel Munteanu is no stranger to Reșita. There he performed for one season as a footballer at the beginning of his career, and then returned as a coach, but for a short time during 2017-2018 and for 7 matches in 2019-2020, before returning to Oțelul Galati.

The teams coached by Dorinel Munteanu: CFR, FC Argeș, FC Vaslui, U Cluj (as a player-coach), FCSB, U Cluj, Oțelul Galați, Dinamo, Mordovia, Kuban Krasnodar, Gabala, Astra Giurgiu, Zakho, Reșita, Concordia, Sepsi, Hermannstadt.

He has two trophies in his record: the title and the Romanian Supercup with Oțelul Galați
