Tourists in the Krasnoyarsk Territory were advised to check instructors before hiking

5 June 15:10

The summer tourist season has started in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Residents and guests of the region were reminded of safety rules.

Before going to the mountains, rafting, taiga or other routes, tourists are advised to check in advance not only the direction, but also the specialist who will accompany the group. To work on routes that require special training, the instructor must undergo mandatory certification. It confirms his knowledge, experience and right to accompany tourists.

Hiking with a certified professional helps reduce risks. Such an instructor will tell you how to prepare for the route, check your equipment, plan transitions and act in difficult situations. Information about the instructor can be checked independently in the Unified Federal Register.

Also, before setting out on the route, you need to make sure that the group is registered with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. This is especially important for hiking in difficult terrain, in the mountains, caves or on water.

The agency noted that the region continues to improve the qualifications of tourism industry specialists. This is necessary to ensure that travel throughout the region remains safe and comfortable.
