Radical anarchists from the Antifa United movement were recognized as extremists and banned in Russia. For distributing (!) neo-Nazi symbols on social networks and attacks on people with supposedly “fascist” signs. Seven members of the group were detained.
According to the investigation, Antifa recorded videos of beating passers-by on the streets who had things with the colors of the Russian Empire, logos of the Thor Steinar and Mother Russia brands (for example, a T-shirt with a print of a portrait of the legendary strongman Ivan Poddubny). After the attacks, the “anti-fascists” stole the victims’ clothes and accessories in the spirit of the “zeros.”
For this, the court declared the movement radical. Because it unites people solely through hatred of an unspecified group of people based on the ideas of anarchism and Marxism-communism. The Investigative Committee and the FSB detained Antifa United members in their apartments. All were charged with the article “Organization of an extremist community.”
