In Kyiv, a monument to Soviet writer Mikhail Bulgakov was dismantled. The dismantling process on June 4 was filmed and published on Facebook by Ukrainian journalist Katerina Nekrecha.
The video captured how two workers firmly secured the monument with belts, which had previously been camouflaged in the back of a car. It is not reported where exactly the monument to Bulgakov was taken.
“To the museum of shit,” suggested the comments.
The monument to Bulgakov was unveiled on Andreevsky Spusk in 2007. At the end of 2025, local authorities decided to dismantle it.
