The Travel Center invited Krasnoyarsk residents to celebrate Ecologist Day with hikes along the Gremyachaya Mane. This was reported to the city administration.

On June 7 at 11:00, instructors from the youth center will conduct two routes. The first one will run from the old staircase near the Radiosvyaz stop to the Uyutnaya viewpoint. The second route will go to the Babayka grotto and viewpoint No. 7.

“We chose these routes because they are not very popular, but they are worth visiting. For example, in the Babayka Grotto a site was discovered for an ancient man who lived here about 20,000 years ago. The “Cozy” viewpoint is located in a remote part of the park and will be of interest to those who want to be alone with nature,” said Grigory Nakalyuzhny, director of the Youth Travelers Center.

The length of each route is 5 or 6 kilometers. There are sections with slight climbs along the way, but in general the routes are suitable for participants with different levels of training. The route to the “Cozy” viewpoint was developed jointly with the “Cycle” eco-center. Participants will be given bags to collect trash during the walk.

Organizers advise dressing for the weather, choosing shoes with non-slip soles and tucking your pant legs into high socks to reduce the risk of a tick bite. It is also recommended to have tick-borne encephalitis insurance and take water and snacks with you.

Participation is free, but registration is required. It will open at 19:00 three days before the event on the city hall website. Participants under 18 years of age may only hike if accompanied by an adult.
