Every third Russian family will leave schoolchildren at home in the summer

Every third Russian family plans for school-age children to spend the summer at home. This was reported by the SuperJob research center.
The most popular option for summer holidays has become the stay of children in the city for all three months. 33% of parents answered this way. Another 31% of respondents said that schoolchildren will go to the country or to the village.
13% of families will send their children to health or sports camps. 8% of parents planned a vacation on the Black Sea coast. Another 4% of respondents said that their children would travel to Russian tourist destinations. Among them are Baikal, Altai, the Caucasus, Stavropol region, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Dagestan, Kazan and Kaliningrad.
The same number of parents are planning foreign trips for schoolchildren. Turkey, Egypt and Thailand were most often named. Children of 4% of survey participants will attend school camps in the summer. Another 3% of parents chose other vacation options, including sanatoriums, hikes, trips to relatives and gatherings. 9% of respondents found it difficult to answer.
Compared to last year, parents began to send their children out of town, abroad and to school camps a little more often. Holidays on the Black Sea and travel around Russia, on the contrary, were mentioned a little less often.
1,600 parents of schoolchildren from all districts of the country took part in the survey.
