Dorinel Munteanu (57 years old), the coach with whom Hermannstadt was relegated to the second league at the end of this season, would have reached an agreement with CSM Reșita, a team from the second echelon.
Although at the end of the season, Dorinel Munteanu hinted that he would be willing to continue at Sibiu under certain conditions, but this will not happen again, and the coach would take over Reșița, a team he trained for, but also developed as a footballer.
Dorinel Munteanu goes to League 2, but does not stay at Hermannstadt: CSM Reșita is the next destination
According to local journalists from oradesibiu.ro, there was a clause in Dorinel Munteanu's contract that made his stay at the club conditional on remaining in the Superliga. Dorinel would have wanted to stay in Sibiu if the financial situation was to improve.
Dorinel Munteanu is no stranger to Reșita. There he performed for one season as a footballer at the beginning of his career, and then returned from the position of coach, but for a short time in the period 2017-1028 and for 7 matches in 2019-2020, before returning to Oțelul Galati.

He has two trophies in his record: the title and the Romanian Supercup with Oțelul Galați
CSM Reșița played in the play-out of League 2 after ranking 8th in the regular season, 6 points away from the play-off zone. He finished in 3rd place in Group B of the play-out, two points behind Bacău, the group leader.
I don't know. Only the management can answer this question (no – if he stays at Hermannstadt). They manage both the coaches and the players who will stay, but if they don't improve from things, know that it will be very difficult. I don't know what their decision is, but we will see in the next few days.
That's how we Romanians are, to throw a relegation on the coach, but know that a coach, no matter how good he is, if he doesn't have conditions, he has nothing to do. I don't feel wronged, I feel fulfilled that I did everything possible to save this team
