The Sverdlovsk District Court of Krasnoyarsk made a decision on the claim to determine the place of residence of a cat named Keksik.
A local resident filed a lawsuit. She indicated that she acquired the pet while she was living and in a relationship with a young man. According to the girl, after breaking up, the guy took the pet for himself against her will.
The girl asked the court to return Cupcake to her, noting that a sudden change in the situation could negatively affect the animal’s condition. However, the demands were refused – the cat remained to live with the young man.
It is not specified what the judge was guided by when making the decision.
Let us remind you that earlier in Krasnoyarsk, more than 20 cats were found in a locked apartment, which for years tormented their neighbors with the smell. The owner kept them at home “for good luck.”
