Colombian international Luis Diaz has caught the attention of the public ahead of the World Cup with what he does off the pitch. The Bayern left winger (29) decided to brighten up his smile and get diamond ornaments on his teeth after returning to the country.

The Bayern striker opted for the so-called “grillz”, a luxury accessory that has become popular in recent years among athletes and public figures. On one tooth there are 12 diamonds, while on the other another 17 are embedded, estimating that it is an extremely expensive intervention, as BILD writes.

Dentist Daniel Zabaleta from the Sonrisa Italiana practice in Barranquilla, a specialist in aesthetic dentistry, took care of the Colombian footballer's new look. He also published on social networks photos of Diaz and his new smile that quickly caught the attention of fans and went viral.

Colleagues Olise and Davies also wear dental diamonds, as well as Real Madrid stars Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo and Eder Militao

Diaz is by no means an isolated case regarding this trend among footballers. At the Allianz Arena, during Bayern's title-winning celebrations, similar decorations could also be seen on Michael Olise and Alphonso Davies. Dental diamonds have also previously been flaunted by Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Eder Militao.

Luis Diaz, who moved to Bayern Munich from Liverpool last summer for 70 million euros, smiled proudly at the camera with his new dentures, unveiled in the warm-up game with Costa Rica.

He will show them at the WC in the USA, Canada and Mexico (June 11 – July 19), but also in the friendly match with Jordan, scheduled in San Diego on June 8.

At the 2026 World Championship, the Colombians will play in Group K, alongside the representatives of Uzbekistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Portugal.
