In the Krasnoyarsk village of Berezovka, a 48-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man died as a result of a fire in a private residential building.
It all happened on the night of June 3 on Kirov Street. According to the Investigative Committee, a married couple with two minor daughters lived in the house. When the fire started, one of the girls woke up from the smell of smoke and started waking everyone up. The children managed to get out of the street, but the parents could not. During the fire extinguishing, their bodies were found with signs of thermal effects.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.
Currently, forensic and fire-technical examinations have been appointed to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made.
