Gheorghe Hagi, the Romanian coach, bet on a surprise in starting team with Georgiain the first match after returning to the “tricolor” national team bench.
For the friendly in Tbilisi, Hagi chose Andrei Coubiș right back. The U Cluj player is a central defender at the base, playing stopper for Transylvania in this Super League season.

The pair of central defenders is formed by other names from the new generation, Radu Drăgușin and Vigil Ghiță, while Andrei Borza, the Rapid player, was chosen as the left defender.
Hagi sent Coubiș right back at the expense of Sorescu and Tony Strata, the right backs moved to Tbilisi.
Central midfielders in front of the defense were chosen Vladimir Screciu and Răzvan Marin, while the line of 3 players behind the top was formed by Moruțan, Ianis Hagi and Mihăilă.
The selector also prepared a surprise for the offensive center, starting Florinel Coman, extreme left.
