A criminal case was opened in Krasnoyarsk due to non-payment of wages to employees of Party of Forest LLC. The total amount of debt exceeded 10 million rubles. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

The company is engaged in logging. According to the prosecutor's office, from March 2025 to February 2026, the company did not pay wages to 56 employees. The company's management explained the delay by a lack of working capital. The general director claimed that he expected to repay the debt after the buyer paid for a large shipment of timber. However, according to the company, this was prevented by the theft of more than 1.7 thousand cubic meters of timber during transportation.

After the inspection, the prosecutor's office made a presentation to the head of the enterprise. The materials were also sent to the investigative authorities to resolve the issue of criminal prosecution. Based on the results of the prosecutor's investigation, a criminal case was opened against the head of the organization for complete non-payment of wages for more than two months.

The prosecutor's office continues to monitor the investigation and repayment of debts to employees.
