“The holiday traditionally begins with a flag-raising ceremony and the singing of the Russian anthem. Next in the program are speeches by parents and schoolchildren themselves, and parting words from teachers. Ceremonial assemblies will take place in assembly halls and schoolyards. The culmination of the holiday will be the ringing of a bell in the hands of a first-grader on the shoulders of a graduate – a symbol of the end of school. Many graduates will wear Soviet-style dress uniforms, and graduates will wear formal suits,” the education department said.
This year in Krasnoyarsk the largest number of eleventh-graders will be school No. 150, which will graduate 300 students. And the smallest one is the Minin school – only 8 eleventh graders.
After the ceremonial lines, graduates will face the main stage of the Unified State Exam, starting on June 1. The presentation of certificates is scheduled for June 27.
