Residents are warned that on June 1, dangerous levels may be briefly exceeded on the rivers Us, Tuba, Kazyr, Kizir, Mana, Kacha, and Bolshoi Kemchug. Flooding of populated areas along river banks, water entering the floodplain, flooding of low-lying areas, household plots, and overflowing of roads are predicted.
The flow of water to the floodplain on the rivers is preserved: Chulym (Krasny Zavod village), Ket (Losinoborskoye village), Tuba (Kuragino village), Anzha (Aginskoye village), Kazyr (Kazyr village), Kizir (Imiskoye village, Ust-Kaspa village), Amyl (Verkhniy Kuzhebar village), Bolshoy On (Bolshoi On village), Mana (Narva village).
It is expected that water will reach the floodplain of the Yenisei River (the city of Dudinka, the village of Karaul), Oya (the village of Ermakovskoye), Chulym (the village of Balakhta), Kebezh (the village of Grigoryevka), Agul (the village of Petropavlovka)
In total, as of June 1, areas in four municipalities remain flooded in the region: 67 household plots (the increase per day was +37), three garden houses and one social facility. The flood also affected roads in seven municipalities—nine sections were overflowing (two were added in one day).
“In general, the situation remains stable; no cases of large-scale flooding have been registered. The authorities and operational services are monitoring the situation,” the government said.
