The outcome of the Champions League final, won by PSG against Arsenal in the penalty shootout, 4-3 after 1-1 in 120 minutes of play, caused a loud reaction in the Roland Garros complex, where several matches are still in progress at this time.

Paris is celebrating its second Champions League after PSG managed to defend the trophy they won last year.

The triumph of the French champion was also echoed on the Roland Garros courts. The moment Gabriel missed the last penalty kick, thus confirming PSG's success, the audience at the “Philippe-Chatrier”, where the duel between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Brandon Nakashima takes place, erupted.

Spectators shouted and cheered, some hugged, others waved flags with the PSG logo. Despite the efforts of the chair umpire, who was trying to calm down for the match to continue, the crowd started chanting a club slogan: “Ici c'est Paris!”.

In the end, the referee's repeated calls had an effect. The crowd calmed down and the match could continue. Nakashima took the first set, 7-5.

The organizers had also prepared a fireworks display, set off the moment they had confirmation that Paris had defended its continental trophy.

Incidentally, today there was a funny moment at Roland Garros. On the broadcast of one of the matches, a spectator was filmed wearing an Arsenal shirt, and a good part of the audience started booing.

Later, the broadcast director broadcast footage of a supporter wearing a PSG shirt, and the reaction was diametrically opposed!
