Russian singer Alexander Malinin, who supported the war of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, lives in Germany. Ukrainian poet and composer Evgeniy Rybchinsky spoke about this in an interview published on May 26 on the “Vysoky Castle” website.
“I was disappointed by the “People's Artist of Ukraine” Alexander Malinin, with whom we recorded two Ukrainian-language albums, who so sincerely admired everything Ukrainian. He lives in Germany, his children sing in London at the opera, so why did he need to become an enemy of Ukraine? This is a strong disappointment,” said Rybchinsky. “We until the end thought that Russians could be normal. They cannot.”
He added that there are exceptions, but he can hardly name more than 10 people on that list.
