Deepfake AI in a clip of a pro-Kremlin singer. Opponents of Putin appear singing “Russia is mother”

Russian singer Shaman used Artificial Intelligence to include notorious opponents of the Kremlin in a patriotic chorus to “Mother Russia” in a video released on Thursday, reports Reuters, taken by Agerpres.
Shaman, the stage name of 34-year-old Yaroslav Dronov, has gained considerable popularity with patriotic songs such as “I'm a Russian”, which praises the passion and exceptionalism of Russians.
In a social media post on Thursday, Shaman introduced his new song “Russia is Mother,” adding that Kremlin opponents will never be forgiven by the Russian people for criticizing their country.
“In my video, they sing for Russia for free. Russia must never be betrayed,” he added.
In the video, Shaman sits next to an icon at an office that appears to be of the security services, looking through files and photos of Kremlin opponents such as Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Iuri Dud, Zemfira, Noize MC and Oleg Tinkoff.
Then he leads everyone in a chorus that sings: “Russia is mother – you are right in my heart. It is only one. It is with you to the end.”
The video ends with a sniper target on Shaman's head.
