A powerful flood after an overnight rain flooded Sochi
The ground floor of the city hospital was flooded with water from the Khosta River. All patients were evacuated. Drivers have difficulty driving through flooded roads. Water on some streets reaches pedestrians' knees.
A section of the federal highway A-147 went under water. In the Khostinsky district, a mudflow hit the road and the roadway was blocked by fallen trees and mud.
Showers will continue and tornadoes may form on August 27 and 28.
