The concept of the future House of Working Youth was presented in Krasnoyarsk. A new youth center could open in 2028 at 193 Semafornaya Street.
The platform should bring together young specialists from city enterprises and members of the Labor Detachment of the Head of Krasnoyarsk. Currently, design and estimate documentation is being developed for the facility. After this, the city will submit an application to participate in the all-Russian competition “Region for the Young” of the national project “Youth and Children”. The results of the competition will be known on Youth Day in 2027. In case of victory, they plan to carry out repairs for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.
Veronica Kloberdanz, head of the main youth policy department, said that when creating the project, the ideas of representatives of working youth themselves were taken into account.
“When creating the space planning project, we turned to representatives of the Working Youth Association so that they offered their ideas for filling the premises – after all, this youth center is being created specifically for them. The design of the room has already been developed. It combines the corporate identity of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs “Rosmolodezh” and the local identity of Krasnoyarsk through elements of the recognizable phrase “Yenisei is part of you” and the project “Your time in Krasnoyarsk,” she said.
The area of the future center will be about 500 square meters. In the left wing they plan to place a meeting room, space for creating media content, recording podcasts and photography, as well as small offices for remote specialists and the self-employed. On the right side of the building they want to organize a transformable space for events, a conference room with a modern screen, a kitchen area and a place for free communication.
A separate part of the center will be workshops for working with wood and metal. On their basis they plan to develop specialized brigades of the city mayor’s Labor Detachment. An exhibition area will also appear in the House of Working Youth. The exhibition will be updated, but its main task will remain the same – to tell about the enterprises of the region, their employees and working specialties.
Under the “Region for the Young” program in Krasnoyarsk, the youth centers “Protechno” in the Vodniki microdistrict and “Good Deed” in the Zheleznodorozhny district, as well as the youth creative business center “Pilot” have already been renovated.
