Mihai Stoica, the president of the FCSB Board of Directors, and Sorin Cârțu, the honorary president of the University of Craiova, have chosen their ideal teams of the Super League season.
MM Stoica included only two players from their own team in the ideal formula. FCSB finished the play-out in 2nd place and is a finalist in the play-off for the UEFA Conference League.

The two officials presented their formulas during the “Football Show” show on Prima Sport.
Both MM Stoica and Sorin Cârțu chose the 4-3-3 system.
MM Stoica followed the following formula: Gertmonas (U Cluj) – Mora (Craiova), Boateng (Dinamo), Romanchuk (Craiova), Chipciu (U Cluj) – Gnahore (Dinamo), Tănăse (FCSB), Potter (FCSB) – Stanojev (U Cluj), Lukic (U Cluj), Bettaieb (FC Arges)
The FCSB official also explained the choice of Alexandru Chipciu: “And team captain and to speak after the match.”
In the same show, Mihai Stoica also explained why he would not transfer to FCSB a profile like that of Issouf Macalou, one of the important players of the vice-champion Universitatea Cluj.
“I will never pick one like Macalou, because I want him to be good offensively and defensively. One that is only good in attack doesn't interest me. We have to play in Europe, it's thick there, there's no other way.”

Craiova and U Cluj, dominant in the elections of the two
Both Mihai Stoica's and Sorin Cârțu's teams were dominated by footballers from Craiova University, UCluj and Dinamo.
FCSB, finalist in the play-off for the Conference League and for the first time in the Superliga play-out, had only 2 representatives in Mihai Stoica's formula: Florin Tănase and Darius Olaru. On the other side, Sorin Cârțu went on 8 players of the champion Craiova.
