Kyiv tightens the screw. The new Ukrainian operation is intended to paralyze the front

— The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is launching a special initiative aimed at increasing the scale of medium-range attacks and systematically destroying Russian logistics infrastructure, warehouses, equipment, command posts and supply routes at operational depth. The aim of the program is to increase pressure on the Russian armed forces behind the lines and preventing the enemy from conducting long-term offensive operations, we read in a statement from the Ukrainian authorities.

As the Ukrainians explain, thanks to this type of attacks, Russian losses have already increased significantly in recent months – in October, Putin paid for one square kilometer of Ukrainian land with the lives of 67 soldiers, and in April this number was already 179 recruits.

Data collected by Ukrainians also show that attacks on Russian logistics have a tangible impact on the front line, contributing to fewer Russian strikes.

In order to increase the effectiveness of this type of strikes, Kiev will allocate approximately PLN 400 million for the purchase of additional medium-range means of destruction, which will be sent to selected, best Ukrainian formations dealing with this type of missions. It can be safely assumed that this list will definitely include the Azov Regiment, which has been hunting Russian logistics convoys near Mariupol in recent weeks, hindering the operation of this important logistics route leading, among others, to to Crimea.
