Krasnoyarsk residents were told who should not eat wild garlic

May 28 10:10

Ramson is considered one of the first fresh seasonal greens after winter. It is easily recognized by its characteristic garlic smell. Rospotrebnadzor for the Krasnoyarsk Territory spoke about this.

Experts note that wild garlic has antibacterial and antiviral effects and can have a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract, improve appetite and support immunity. The plant contains a lot of vitamin C and beta-carotene. Wild garlic also contains vitamin K, which is involved in calcium metabolism, vitamin A, necessary for skin health, and allicin.

However, not everyone can eat wild garlic. It is not recommended for children under three years of age, pregnant women, or people with acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Experts advise not to overuse seasonal greens and take into account individual contraindications.
