The Romanian who died from a fall from 8 meters inside the Munich stadium, during the final of the League of Nations, was only 34 years old and was a famous chef in Germany, Bild reports. His death endured the community of Grainau (Bavaria) where he lived and worked, according to Freedom.
Răzvan S. was very excited about the final of the League of Nations between Portugal and Spain, which was to take place on Sunday. Together with his friends, he headed for Allianz Arena in Munich, but he had never suspected that he would find his end here. The football match ended with his death.
In the extensions, Răzvan fell from the middle stand (block 207), from a height of about 8 meters on the press box (block 103). The security agents areolated the area around him with a tarp, and the paramedics fought for his life, but without success.
His work colleagues are deeply grieved
The news of Razvan S.'s death spread rapidly in the community in Grainau (Bavaria). “He was always friendly and lived alone on the first floor,” said a neighbor to reporter Bild. “He was going to work every day.”
Born in Romania, he worked as a chef at the restaurant “Wirtshaus Zum Dorfbrunnen” in the center of the town, where he was highly appreciated. “He was a wonderful colleague,” says a young waiter, with tears in his eyes. “We are shocked.”
It is not known how it fell
The reason why Răzvan S. fell from the football stadium stand has not yet been clarified, a police investigation being in progress.
Officers are intensely investigating: witnesses are interrogated, video recordings are analyzed. “Currently, there are no indications to disable the hypothesis of a tragic accident,” said a police spokesman.
“In the last 20 years, there has been no such dramatic accident in Allianz Arena in Munich,” said Sohrab Taheri-Sohi from the Bavarian Red Cross.
