A Bulgarian was attacked by a bear on Transfăgărășan, after feeding the animal from the car. Images of the attack

A female bear accompanied by a cub attacked a Bulgarian tourist on Transfăgărășan, immediately after he had fed her from the car he was in. The man suffered bites to his forearm and was admitted to Curtea de Argeș Hospital, writes anchetaonline.ro.
In the images that appeared on social networks, the man can be seen sticking his hand out the window and throwing food to the bear, despite warnings from the authorities not to feed the bears.
At one point, a witness starts clapping, which seems to have spooked the bear. After a few moments of bewilderment, the animal rushed towards the car in which the Bulgarian citizen was.
The moment of the attack was captured in the clip below. Following are images with strong emotional impact:
Witnesses started honking their cars and whistling to scare the animal, so the Bulgarian managed to reverse the car attacked by the bear.
On the “Din Pădure” Facebook account, a recording also made by the passenger to the right of the attacked driver appeared:
The injured man went to the gendarme station at the Vidraru dam where he asked for help. From there, the victim was later at the Curtea de Argeș Municipal Hospital, being conscious and cooperative when he was taken over by the medical team.
The doctors believe that the wound suffered by the Bulgarian on his left forearm is quite serious, considering the option of a complex surgical intervention to restore the affected tissue.
