Summer large-scale cold water outages are canceled in most parts of Krasnoyarsk

The KrasCom company has canceled summer large-scale cold water outages in most of Krasnoyarsk.

Today, the company’s specialists are completing planned work at the following water intakes:

• Rest Island, which provides cold water to the entire Sverdlovsk region and microdistrict. Vodniki and Torgashino of the Kirov region;
• Tatyshev Island, within the contour of which residents of the Sovetsky district receive cold water supply;
• Posadny Island, which supplies drinking water to the Central District in its entirety and part of Zheleznodorozhny (from the center to the railway);
• Verkhniy Atamanovsky Island, to which the microdistrict is connected. Michurinsky.

“In the interests of Krasnoyarsk residents, we have adjusted our plans for the summer repair campaign to eliminate the overlap of cold and hot water shutdown schedules, which our colleagues from SGK require for hydraulic testing of pipelines and preparation of the thermal power plant for the new heating season. At four of the seven city water intakes, we have already completed almost the entire scope of preventative repairs. A complete shutdown is required only to replace large-diameter shut-off valves on the main water supply networks and electrical equipment of the Gremyachiy Log water intake structures, Kazachiy and Nizhny Atamanovsky islands,” said KrasKom General Director Oleg Goncherov.

Thus, only two cold water outages are planned in Krasnoyarsk. The first will happen on the night of Friday, 29, to Saturday, May 30. Specialists will stop the water intake of Nizhny Atamanovsky Island, which supplies cold water to the Leninsky district, part of the Kirovsky district – Krasnoyarsky Rabochiy Ave. from the street. Kornetova to st. Zatonskaya; to the cottages on the street. Pobezhimova and st. Vavilov, as well as part of the village of Berezovka.

Krasnoyarsk Clinical Hospital No. 20 and the Krasmash defense plant will switch to water supply from the water intake of Verkhniy Atamanovsky Island.

Residents are advised to collect the necessary supply of drinking water and water for sanitation needs. When leaving the city for the weekend, it is recommended to check whether the taps are closed so as not to flood the neighbors, since the launch of the water intake of Nizhny Atamanovsky Island and the restoration of water supply KrasKom plans to begin not in two days, as previously planned, but ahead of schedule – on the evening of Saturday, May 30.

In August, it is planned to stop the Gremyachiy Log water intake, which supplies water to Oktyabrsky and part of the Zheleznodorozhny district.
