Illegal nicotine products worth 2.8 million rubles were seized in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, a criminal case was opened against the owner of a retail outlet where they sold nicotine-containing products without mandatory labeling. This was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The violation was discovered by employees of the economic security and anti-corruption department of the city police in one of the retail outlets in the Central District. 107 units of nicotine-containing products, 565 bottles of liquid for electronic nicotine delivery systems and 260 disposable electronic smoking devices were seized from illicit trafficking.
In total, the police seized about a thousand units of products. Its cost was estimated at more than 2.8 million rubles. A criminal case has been initiated against the owner of the outlet, a man born in 1997. He is suspected of storing and selling unmarked goods on an especially large scale.
Now investigators are establishing channels for the supply of illegal products. The maximum penalty under this article is up to 6 years in prison.
