Historic performance for the New York Knicks: qualifying for the NBA Finals after a 27-year wait

It's a celebration in New York, after the local team, Knikcs, qualified after 27 years in the NBA finals, the North American basketball championship.

The Knicks dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-0 on Monday night in the Eastern Conference playoffs. In game 4, which earned him tickets for the finals, the Knicks prevailed 130-93.
The Knicks, whose loyal supporters include director Spike Lee, had finished the regular season in 3rd place, and the Cavs came in 4th, so the paper calculations were respected in the Conference Finals.
The Western Conference finals pit the San Antonio Spurs against the reigning champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The two teams are tied, score 2-2. It is played on a “best of 7” or “first to 4” system.
