The suspect was detained while accepting a bribe. He was informed of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official, committed by an official holding a particularly responsible position). The sanction of the article provides for up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure and removing the detainee from his position is now being decided.
