Units of the penal system of the Krasnoyarsk Territory received 23 new specialized vehicles from the regional government. The ceremony of presenting the keys and handing over the transport took place the day before as part of an extended meeting of the department’s board to sum up the results of operational, service, production, economic and financial and economic activities for 2025.
Keys to 18 Moskvich 3 cars and 5 Lada Niva Travel cars Governor Mikhail Kotyukov handed it over to the head of the regional GUFSIN Anton Efarkin.
“The head of the penitentiary department expressed gratitude to the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory for the support provided, emphasizing the importance of this initiative, which helps improve the working conditions of employees, allowing them to quickly solve assigned tasks and increase the security of the region,” said the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

Mikhail Kotyukov, in turn, thanked the department’s employees for their high professionalism, the positive results achieved, as well as fruitful cooperation. The head of the region also highly appreciated the contribution of the GUFSIN institutions to the economy of the region and noted that reducing the level of repeat crime is the most important result of interaction, and work on the socialization of those released from prison must continue.
“It is important to pay special attention to the professional training of people, as well as equipping FSIN institutions with modern equipment. Regional law supports an employer who employs a person released from prison. We are already discussing with deputies the improvement of the document so that more people go through this program, find a job, and most importantly, take the right path of life in society,” said the head of the region.
