Filipe Coelho named the Superliga opponent who impressed him, after the last match of the season

Rapid – Craiova University 0-0. Filipe Coelho, the coach of Olten, analyzed the last match of the season for the Romanian champions.
Craiova drew in Giulesti in the last stage of the play-off and they ended the season with two trophies, the title and the Romanian Cup. Coelho recalled his best memory from this season and said he hoped they would not lose players in the summer.
Filipe Coelho: “I remember the faces of the people on the street after winning the championship”
“We didn't get the victory, but I'm happy with the game. Naturally we wanted to win. Now is the time to recover, we'll see which players will come. I can promise that we will work, that we will give everything, we have to respect our opponents, respect football and do everything to win. I can't promise that we will get trophies.
I remember the faces of the people on the street after we won the championship, the happiness on people's faces, and that is the best memory of this season. Now I'm going to go stay with my family, fill my heart with the love of my children.
Usually the coach and club management are looking for players, we will try to make the best decisions. I will work with the players I have available. I don't decide who comes. I will try to give everything.
For now, the only one leaving is Mogoș. He was very important for us both in training and on the pitch. If I keep my players next season, I will be very happy“, said Filipe Coelho, at Digi Sport.
Filipe Coelho: “Lukic was impressive, judging by the numbers”
Asked which player from the opposing teams impressed him, Coelho named Jovo Lukic, the striker of U Cluj, who was released last summer by Craiova.
“Lukic was impressive, if we judge by the numbers. If we also look at my strikers, they have fewer games. Maybe if they played as much, they would have more goals. The opponents were very good, we had to stay focused all season to achieve our goals,” Coelho said.
Filipe Coelho: “I came here with the idea of getting the three points”
We came here with the idea of getting the three points. I think we had the bigger chances, we fought very well. I'm not happy with the result, of course, but I'm happy with the overall performance.
It was a very good week for us. We had a few days off, protected a few players and left them out today, but as a group we knew we couldn't relax and we had to try and get points. We are at a big club, we represent a whole city, whether we win or not.
Time passed very quickly. I tried to adapt to the championship as quickly as possible, and the adventure was extraordinary, one of the best in my life. When I came here, I watched a lot of games and I knew the team had quality. I trusted my work and my staff. We've improved our game a lot, we've scored a lot of points, we've gone seven games in the play-offs without conceding a goal and I think we're the best attacking team in the league. We know we can achieve an important goal.
When I came here, the beginning was not easy. We didn't have much time: nine games in a month. The players didn't know me and had to believe in my process. We took everything match by match and didn't talk about the title until two weeks ago. It was difficult to manage the physical part after the Cup final and then to give everything in the match against U Cluj.
I am happy and lucky and the players helped me a lot. Mogoș was very important for us. I will never forget how much you helped me. He didn't play much, but he worked hard and I think it's a shame, but that's football. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to work these seven months with him.
It is important that we have many players in the national teams, because it means that our work has been appreciated. Not only in Romania: Romanchuk was called up to the national team of Ukraine, Mora to Costa Rica, and Anzor to Georgia. We have quality and it shows that they have performed very well.
It's a good time for us, but at the same time, they won't have much time to rest. I'll give them a few days off though.
I started some Romanian language courses. I can understand some conversations, but I'm not ready to speak yet. Tomorrow I go to Portugal, to be with my children. That's the hardest part when you work abroad: I can't be with them, I can't be with my family and do what a father has to do, fill my heart with love. And they are very happy, I hope they are proud of me, but I was not there with them. We cannot forget that we have responsibilities.
