UTA announced through an official statement that Marius Coman (29 years old), the striker who was also called up to the national team, will continue with the group from Arad. Vârful played for “Bătrăna Doamnă” in the recently concluded season on loan from Sepsi, and the Arada players had a purchase option of only 60,000 euros which they activated.
Marius Coman signed a two-year agreement with the Aradenians, until 2028.

“Marius Coman continues his journey at UTA! The striker has extended his contract and will wear the shirt of our club until at least 2028.
Marius had a successful season in Arad, with 31 appearances in all competitions, 9 goals, two decisive assists and his first call-up to the Romanian national team.
Upon signing the new contract, the 29-year-old footballer spoke about his time at UTA and what he wants for the future.

It was a season that gave me confidence and continuity. I felt at home from the first match, it was a match at first sight!
I was impressed by the warmth with which I was received by the supporters and it mattered a lot that I debuted with a goal at home. It was a special moment for me.
We also went through hard times together, when we didn't manage to win several stages in a row, but all these experiences help us grow. I wish from the bottom of my heart that next year we catch the play-off
